Holds MTech in Computer Engineering from IIT Kharagpur (1995) and an M.Phil in Defense Studies from Mumbai University, and BTech in Electrical Engineering. Conferred with the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) by the President of India for exemplary service for the Nation. Superannuated on 30 Sep 2024.
